About The Department

The Department of Computer and Communication Engineering (CCE), established in 2025, is a future-focused department committed to developing skilled engineers for the digital era. The department integrates the core principles of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Communication Engineering to prepare students for emerging technologies and global industry demands.

The curriculum provides a strong foundation in computing and communication while offering expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Embedded Systems, Computer Networks, and Next-Generation Communication Technologies. With an approved intake of 60 students, the department emphasizes Outcome-Based Education (OBE), experiential learning, research, innovation, industry collaborations, internships, and professional certifications.

Supported by experienced faculty members and modern laboratories, students gain practical knowledge through Technical clubs, workshops, hackathons, industrial visits, and interdisciplinary projects. These opportunities foster technical excellence, innovation, leadership, teamwork, and ethical values.

The interdisciplinary nature of the program prepares students for careers in software development, advanced computing, intelligent communication systems, and emerging technologies. It offers opportunities in industry, research, entrepreneurship, government organizations, and higher education, while nurturing globally competent professionals committed to innovation and societal development.

PO1. Engineering Knowledge: Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and engineering specialization to solve complex engineering problems.

PO2. Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems using engineering principles to arrive at appropriate conclusions.

PO3. Design and Development of Solutions: Design innovative solutions for complex engineering problems by considering technical, societal, environmental, economic, and safety requirements.
